2. Define mediation and arbitration and discuss the similarities and differences between them.

The main difference between mediation and arbitration is that in arbitration, the decision made by the arbitrator is final and must be followed by the involved parties. On the other hand, the decision made by a mediator is not final and doesn't have to be followed by the disputing parties.

3. Identify and demonstrate the role and responsibilities of an effective mediator and arbitrator.
