Fruit_function_and_inverse.PNG (520 × 144 pixels, file size: 17 KB, MIME type: image/png)

Summary

Description
English: A function box shows the function f converting apples to lemons followed by its inverse function box converting the lemons back to apples. A conceptual illustration.

H Padleckas made this image in about October 2004 based on the similar image en::Image:Apple_slicing_function.png in Wikibooks originally drawn by Theresa Knott. It will be used in the same math chapter (Functions) as before, but in a different section, Inverse functions. H Padleckas 09:24, 30 October 2005 (UTC)

Since it is based on Theresa Knott's work, I will assume at this time she may want to use a GFDL license. If she agrees to release it to the public domain, then I would change the status to PD or PD-self. H Padleckas 09:24, 30 October 2005 (UTC)
