Description
English: Shown is a male technician taking a x-ray fluoroscope of a female patient. The x-ray tube is behind the patient, and a glass screen with a fluorescent coating in front of the patient makes the image visible. Fluoroscope exams gave much higher radiation exposures than film x-ray images. This image was used to demonstrate the myth about exposure to radiation during the x-ray procedure.
