This refers to tail vertebrae having two chevrons on them.
Diplodocus lived during the Jurassic Period.
Anatomy
[edit | edit source]They are one of the longest dinosaurs ever.
They have very small heads (2 feet) compared to the 85 feet of its total body.
They had peg shaped teeth.
Phylogeny
[edit | edit source]Diplodocus are sauropods.
All sauropods are dinosaurs.
All dinosaurs are amniotes and all dinosaurs are tetrapods.
