The Scientific Method
[edit | edit source]Scientists come up with hypotheses (potential ideas for how something works and why it works). These are then tested and results are collected.
Scientific investigations
[edit | edit source]- The variable you change is called the independent variable.
- The variable you measure is called the dependent variable.
- The variables that are kept constant are called control variables.
