Mirage Tower is a tower in the video game Pokémon Emerald, which serves as the new place where the player gets one of the two fossils. It is located in the desert.
Required objects
[edit | edit source]HM06, Rock Smash, and the Mach Bike are required in order for the player to go through Mirage Tower. Rock Smash is required because there are breakable rocks blocking the path, and the Mach Bike is required because Mirage Tower, much like Sky Pillar, has cracked ground that the player can fall through when it's stepped over, unless the player manages to speed over the cracks with the Mach Bike.
The fossils
[edit | edit source]Two fossils are located at the top floor of Mirage Tower: the Root Fossil, which can be resurrected into Lileep, and the Claw Fossil, which can be resurrected into Anorith. When the player picks one, Mirage Tower sinks down into the desert, with the other fossil going down as well. After the player beats the Elite 4, the other fossil can be found in the Desert Underpass.
Pokémon obtainable
[edit | edit source]In addition to the fossils, you can find wild Trapinch and Sandshrew.
