Introduction

[edit | edit source]

Here, we discuss the most fundamental aspects of structural analysis. The approach is intended to be as general as possible, distant from loads, material properties, bolts and nuts, yet essential to the practical work of the structural analyst.

The core of the discussion is safety and reliability, and how to achieve those qualities regardless of what the application may be.
