Addition and Subtraction with Decimals

Adding and subtracting decimals is quite similar to when we do the same to whole numbers. All that changes now is that we have digits following a decimal point.

  1. Keep first fraction
  2. Find the reciprocal of the second
  3. Multiply the two new fractions.

Converting between Fractions and Decimals

While fractions and decimals both essentially represent the same thing, one may be better suited for a problem than the other.
