Personal Pronouns
[edit | edit source]In Aramaic there are two numbers (singular and plural) and two genders (masculine and feminine). In the pronouns:
- First Person (sing., plur.): אנא (enaa), אנחנא (enachnaa)
- Second Person Masculine (sing., plur.): אַתּ (att), אַתּוּנ (attuun)
- Second Person Feminine (sing., plur.): אַתּ (att), אַתּין (attiin)
- Third Person Masculine (sing., plur.): הוּא (hu), הנוּן (hnuun)
- Third Person Feminine (sing., plur.): היא (hi), הנין (hniin)
