[edit | edit source]On the 25th of April in 1915, 16,000 Australian and New Zealand troops began fighting hard on the Gallipoli peninsula to relieve pressure on Russian allies, with a tough stalemate against Ottoman forces lasting eight months.[1]
Spanish Flu

Australia began taking precautions against the Spanish Flu on October 17th, 1918, and the virus was contained until January 1919.[2]
