Be ye angry and sin not: let not the sun go down on your wrath: Neither give place to the devil. Ephesians 4. 26 - 27.

The crux of the matter --as far as anger is concerned is that it's an emotion that can be provoked in us by the actions of others or our response to situations around us. Emotions are a part of our soul (mind, will & emotions) and created by Almighty God. However, if not properly managed, anger can be very destructive. Anger is an emotional sign that tells us that something is wrong. It's okay to be angry, it's what we do with that anger that can get us into trouble! That is why Paul acknowledges that we will get angry on occasion. We must deal with the cause of the anger. Allowing it to linger could give room for the devil to manipulate us.
