"Affichage libre" (meaning something like "free notice") was a beer brewed under an open license (CC-BY-SA) for the RMLL 2011 free software meeting in Strasbourg.

Here we have translated the basic recipe from the French original published at [1]. The recipe makes 140 litres.

  • COPOUDAL hops from Alsace (Alsace Hop Co-operative)
  • 20kg Pilsen (2RP)
  • 4kg M15 (Munich)
  • 2kg C50 (caramel)

Hops:

  • Bittering agent (Magnum) Alpha 15% 220g
  • Aromatic (STRISSELPALT) Alpha 3.5% 130g

Yeast:

  • Yeast S33 (Fermentas)
