Code page 1044 (CCSID 1044) is a code page used under DOS to use in shipping labels. It is a subset of w:Code page 850 which excludes all lowercase letters and the symbols !, #, <, >, ?, @, [, ], ^, _, `, {, |, }, and ~, and all symbols of the second half except for ±, ×, and ÷.[1]
