Character Encodings/Code Tables/MS-DOS/Code page 773
Code page 773 (also known as CP 773) is a code page used under DOS to write the Estonian, Lithuanian, and Latvian languages.
It is closely related to both code page 775 (a later code page used for the same languages) and the KBL encoding for Lithuanian. It retains four box drawing characters that are in code page 437 but not code page 850. It does this by encoding the Lithuanian letters at their KBL locations rather than their code page 775 locations,[1][2] which replaces half blocks and punctuation, which the punctuation is moved to replace some box drawing characters. It includes all characters of ISO 8859-13. Therefore, it is possible, but unusual, to write Polish, Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, Danish and German using this code page.
