Bishop's Opening Classical Defence

[edit | edit source]

3. Nf3

[edit | edit source]

White position is quite sharp, an attack on the e5 pawn, a possible break on d4 would gain a tempo on the Black Bishop. Black has one one move to try for equality, that's 3...Nc6 and transpose into the Giuoco Piano.
