Ingredients
[edit | edit source]- 1 head of green cabbage, sliced and/or diced
- Bacon, chopped
- Butter
- Parsley
- 1 egg
- Grated cheese
- Cayenne pepper
- ½ onion, roughly chopped
- Salt
Procedure
[edit | edit source]- Boil the cabbage until tender. Drain.
- Fry the chopped bacon in butter.
- Combine the cooked cabbage, bacon, parsley, egg, cheese, cayenne, and chopped onion. Season to taste with salt.
- Transfer mixture to a glass baking dish. Bake 15 minutes at 180˚C.
- Serve with toasted bread.
