Faten tsaki is a a very popular corn porridge common among the people from northern Nigeria.
Ingredients

- Chile pepper
- Vegetable oil or palm oil
- Onion, diced
- Seasoning cubes
- Salt
- Nigerian curry powder
- Ground crayfish
- Water
- Corn grits
- Spinach, washed and chopped
Procedure
[edit | edit source]- Blend the tomato and chile pepper to a smooth paste.
- Heat oil in a pot for 2 minutes. Add the diced onion.
- Stir in the seasoning cubes, salt, curry powder, and ground crayfish. Add some water, and cook for 5 minutes.
- Stir in the corn grits. Top up with water, and simmer, stirring intermittently.
- Stir in the spinach. Cook for a few minutes.
- Serve.
