Ingredients
[edit | edit source]- 1 kg beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 5 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 pcs calamansi or 1 lemon, juiced
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 pcs yellow onion, sliced into rings
- 4 tbsp canola oil
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp salt
Preparation
[edit | edit source]- Press [Sauté] on the NORMAL level on the Instant Pot. Once HOT, pour in oil and add half of white onions and garlic. Sauté until slightly soft.
- Add beef slices, calamansi juice, soy sauce, ground black pepper, salt, and beef broth to the pot. Press [Cancel].
- Close the lid, seal the valve to SEALING, and press [Meat/Stew] function. Set pressure level to [High] and adjust time to 13 mins.
- When the cooking cycle is done, Quick Release pressure and open the lid. Pour in the remaining white onions and let the residual heat soften them.
- Transfer to a serving plate and enjoy!
