Gullisuwa is fritter eaten in the northern part of Nigeria during festive periods and weddings, and as street food.
Ingredients

- ¼ cup white granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- Vanilla powder
- Water
- Vegetable oil

Procedure
[edit | edit source]- Combine powdered milk, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla powder in a bowl. Mix thoroughly.
- Mix in enough water to form a dough.
- Grease your hands with vegetable oil, and roll the dough into small balls.
- Deep fry the dough in a pan of hot vegetable oil until browned all over.
- Use spoon to remove the fritters from the oil and drain in a sieve.
- Serve fresh.
