Haupia is a Hawaiian pudding made of coconut milk and cornstarch (originally Polynesian arrowroot starch).

Procedure

  1. Mix coconut milk with sugar and salt over a medium heat.
  2. Slowly add cornstarch and stir until thickened.
  3. Pour into a pan or square form.
  4. Cool for 1 hour or until fully set.
  5. Unmold and cut into squares.
