Nigerian liver sauce is a very simple and affordable dish to prepare for every lover of liver.
Ingredients

- Onion, chopped
- Stock cube
- Vegetable oil
- Green bell pepper, chopped
- Yellow bell pepper, chopped
- Red bell pepper, chopped
Procedure
[edit | edit source]- Cut the liver into small cubes, and place it in a pot with some chopped onion and stock cube. Cover with water, and boil for about 5 minutes. Do not overcook, or the liver will taste bitter.
- Heat a thin layer of vegetable oil in a pot. Add some chopped onion and bell peppers, and fry until softened.
- Season the mixture with a stock cube, and cook for about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the cooked liver, and cook for about another 3 minutes. Taste and adjust the seasonings as needed.
- Serve hot.
