This is a type of toast that is made with wheat bread. It can be served as a breakfast or snack.
Ingredients

- Salt
- Sliced wheat bread
- Butter
- Oil
- Yellow pepper powder
- Black pepper powder
- Lettuce
- Onions, sliced
- Cucumber, sliced
Procedure
[edit | edit source]- Crack the egg, and whisk it with a pinch of salt.
- Spread some butter on the bread slices.
- Spread some of the beaten egg on each slice of bread. Do not add so much egg that the bread is soaked.
- Heat a nonstick pan over low heat, and add a thin layer of butter or oil.
- Place the bread slices in the pan egg-side down. Sprinkle with yellow and black pepper.
- Cook over low heat until the bread is dry and crisp. Remove from the heat.
- Top the toast with the lettuce and sliced vegetables.
