Ingredients

- Fresh cayenne pepper
- Fresh tomatoes
- Onion
- Ginger (optional)
- Groundnut oil
- Onions, chopped
- Carrots, diced
- Bell pepper, diced
- Sausages (optional), diced
- Spring onions, chopped
- Green beans, diced
- Prawns, rinsed
- Nutmeg
- Cinnamon
- Curry powder
- Thyme
- Salt
- Cucumber, diced
- Cabbage, chopped
Procedure
[edit | edit source]- Parboil your spaghetti, making sure it is not too soft. Drain in a sieve.
- Blend the chile pepper, tomatoes, onions, and ginger to make a paste.
- Heat some groundnut oil in a pot, and add the diced onions.
- Stir well, then add the carrots, diced bell pepper, sausages, spring onions, and green beans.
- Add the prawns, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Fry until cooked.
- Add a little water to the ingredients, along with the spaghetti, pepper-tomato paste, curry powder, and thyme. Steam over low heat for 5 minutes.
- Season with salt to taste, and serve with cucumber and cabbage.
