A saltspoon (abbr: ssp, sometimes ss) is a unit of measurement sometimes found in old recipes in English, and in French recipes – cuillère à sel.  In the US, it is 14 of a US teaspoon, or about 1.2 ml. In the UK, it is 12 of a UK teaspoon (116 imperial fluid ounce or 12 imperial fluid drachm), or about 1·78mL.
