Shikanjvi is a type of traditional limeade or lemonade from the Punjab region of South Asia.[1] While the base ingredients include lemon or lime juice, ginger juice, ice and water, shikanjvi often contains other ingredients such as salt, saffron, mint, rosewater, or cumin.[2]

Procedure

  1. Pour the water into a glass.
  2. Add the lemon juice, ginger, sugar, salt and pepper, then shake it vigorously.
  3. Serve cold.
