ERP Internals/Modules/Manufacturing/Master Production Schedule

From Wikibooks, open books for an open world

The Master Production Schedule represents the business's high-level decisions about what is to be produced during a given time period. It states what finished goods are to be produced by date and in what quantity. It is based on customer orders and forecasted demand over a planning interval (months or even years). The Master Production Schedule is used to drive the rest of the Manufacturing module.
