The epitome of evil, Dark elves start out in the underground city of Neriak. They are masters of magic, but also good with the sword. As such, they can play a Cleric, Enchanter, Magician, Necromancer, Rogue, Shadowknight, Warrior or Wizard. As an evil race, Dark Elves are generally killed on sight in most cities in Norrath, forcing then to sneak through areas patrolled by good guards. The dark race can see in the darkness as well as the light, and has the innate ability to hide from their foes. This is a difficult race to play, since you will have difficulty travelling through a large portion of Norrath without running into an NPC who wants to kill you.
