Jacobaea
[edit | edit source]Jacobaea was formerly treated as a subgenus of Senecio but recently (re-)segregated to better reflect the current phylogenetic understanding. Jacobaea vulgaris (tansy ragwort) rarely if ever naturalizes in in New York State but would be considered highly invasive if it is found to do so.[1]
