Multiple Master Fonts
[edit | edit source]A Multiple Master font is a (PostScript Type1) font that contains, a number of styles of a font family in one font. These styles are called masters. Between the masters this specific font format allows interpolation to create instances of this family. The interpolation is defined for up to four dimensions. The result is that a Multiple Master font can interpolate between 16 masters.
