Guitar/Blanks

From Wikibooks, open books for an open world

The purpose of this page is to provide blank tab and chord templates for anyone writing a lesson or an exercise. If you find something useful that can save time when typing out tabs, please add it to this section

When you type the numbers in the tab, please space them nicely.

   e[------------------------------------------------------------------------]
   B[------------------------------------------------------------------------]
   G[------------------------------------------------------------------------]
   D[------------------------------------------------------------------------]
   A[------------------------------------------------------------------------]
   E[------------------------------------------------------------------------]

When you write a chord, an x means don't play, a 0 is open and the frets are numbered. If you are writing chords on double digit frets, used something similar to the 2nd chord template.

   EADGBe
  (xxxxxx)
   E A D G B e

This template is intended for easy creating of scale and arpeggio charts. Please use the numbers provided to indicate notes.
