Appearance
History
[edit | edit source]The AYANEO Kun was developed by the company AYANEO of China.[1]
The system was teased in July 2023.[2]
An Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign was scheduled to launch on September 5, 2023.[1]
Prices for the system ranged from $1,209 to $1,949.[3] Notably a launch discount on the crowdfunding campaign allowed some to get the console for $999.[4] Even given a launch discount, this console is among one of the more expensive handhelds of the generation, even within the relatively higher priced segment of PC gaming handheld game consoles.
Technology
[edit | edit source]The system has a battery rated at 75 watt hours.[5]
