History

[edit | edit source]

The Ceroqode 2048 Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign launched on June 21st, 2016, reaching its funding goal by July 12, 2016.[1][2] Following schedule, consoles were shipped to backers on December 16th, 2016.[3]

Technology

[edit | edit source]

The console is powered by an Atmega 2560 R3 processor.

The Creoqode 2048 uses a matrix of RGB LEDs arranged to form a resolution of 64 LEDs by 32 LEDs for 2048 total LEDs, hence the name.[4]

Unlike most handheld consoles, the Creoqode 2048 was not initially designed with battery support, though this was added later.[5]
