Tulips are spring blooming bulbs with a long history of cultivation, as well as a notorious history in commerce.
Description
[edit | edit source]Tulips grow from bulbs, each bulb producing a single shoot with alternate, straplike leaves and a single flower. The plant dies back shortly after flowering in mid-spring.
