International Postage Meter Stamp Catalog/Barbados
Barbados
[edit | edit source]The first meter was installed in 1934. All stamps have “BARBADOS” in the frank. The stamps are grouped according to appearance and function:
- A - Frank with ornamentation but without postal logo
- B - Frank with crown
- C - Frank with trident
- D - Frank with neither ornament nor postal logo
- PO - Special stamps for post office use only

- Horizontal frank enclosing straight-line town mark at left.
- Large circle in center contains the badge of the colony under George V.
- One of the horses looks back.
