Welcome to the Khowar Wikibook, a free textbook for learning Khowar! Khowar is one of the biggest languages of Chitral and Gilgit-Baltistan. It is also spoken in India, Afghanistan, and Xinjiang. There are between 1 million native speakers of Khowar Language. According to the SIL Ethnologue (1999 data), Khowar is the second most spoken language in KPK and the third most spoken language in Gilgit Baltistan.
