This worksheet will help practice with order of operations. As a reminder, the following rules apply:

  1. Do the equations in parentheses/brackets first. If the question has nested brackets like [] and {}, do the equations in inner bracket first. Inner equations symbolized as ().
  2. Do multiplication and division before addition and subtraction.
  3. Do the equation in order from left to right.

There are two worksheets, based on whole numbers or fractions:
