1. Carefully insert the cylinder into the barrel. Adjust the micrometer screw to prevent binding in the axial direction. The bearing disk should seat against the end of the barrel with clearance between the cylinder and barrel. Caution: forcing the bearing disk against the barrel without axial clearance between cylinder and barrel will produce unrepairable damage.
2. Replace the four screws fastening the bearing disk to the end of the barrel.
3. Replace the gear wheel assembly and the two screws which fasten it.
