Planks are required to make many things, and as wood, it is one of the first blocks you obtain. However, do not build a house entirely of wood, unless it is the only thing that you can use. Doing so risks setting the whole building ablaze, and weak to explosions.
Obtaining
[edit | edit source]They are a block made from logs. They can also be found in most naturally spawning structures.

- Oak: flammable
- Birch: flammable
- Spruce: flammable
- Jungle: flammable
- Acacia: flammable
- Dark oak: flammable
- Mangrove: flammable
- Crimson: not flammable
