Obtaining
[edit | edit source]Redstone dust can be found in woodland mansions, dungeons, strongholds, and most other naturally generated structures. They also drop from witches, and can be found below y=16.
Use
[edit | edit source]They can be used for so many things, like redstone piston doors. There is also slime (which can be obtained by killing slimes) and honey (which can be harvested from beehives by using bottles) for slime balls which can be used to make moving flying machines. Automatic farms are another use for redstone, as are giant redstone computers. There are so many uses, it would be impossible to list them all here. See the redstone guide for a bit more on that.
