Minecraft resource gathering/Gunpowder
Obtaining
[edit | edit source]Gunpowder can sometimes be obtained by killing creepers or ghasts. They can also commonly be found in chests in desert temples. Desert temples are a semi rare structure that generates in the dest biome. Desert temples can be lotted by breaking any of the 9 blocks in the center, but have a pressure plate at the bottom that detonates 9 TNT which will almost always result in the player's death.
Uses
[edit | edit source]5 Gunpowder and 4 sand can be used to craft TNT. 1 gunpowder and 1 paper can be used to craft fireworks which can be used to boost your elytra.
