Pros
[edit | edit source]- Good image quality
- Interchangable lenses
- Tried and tested - used in 28 Days Later.
Cons
[edit | edit source]- The supplied zoom lens has horrible electronic "manual" controls over the zoom and focus - there's no direct mechanical coupling between the rings and the glass. It's pretty tough to zoom smoothly or to focus responsively
- No XLR mic support
- No true 16:9
- No LCD screen
- Not HDV
