Nonviolent Communication (NVC), also called Compassionate Communication, is a way of speaking that leads people away from conflict and towards compassionately sharing with each other. It was developed and shared by Marshall Rosenberg, and much of the process and philosophy has been defined by his statements. NVC may be used to bring compassion to conflicts of any nature, and in any situation.
