Open Source Handbook of Nursing/Nursing diagnosis

From Wikibooks, open books for an open world

There has been a large volume of work to develop a global nursing language. This effort has led to the development of a separate discipline of health informatics which deals with categories of diagnosis and management activities with each client. Informatics is closely connected with financial management of health services. There has been some move toward a searchable on-line database to address ethical issues of global accessibility and equity of terms arising in the international academic literature. Leading the charge toward a universal nursing language is the International Council of Nurses.[1]
