Non-teaching Day
- Prep classes
- Grade papers
- Maybe spend a little time on research
- Preparing for the Position
- Teach some classes
- Start developing a teaching style
- Be willing to collaborate with people in a different subfield than one are in
- Make sure the institution/department has the right combination of teaching, research, and service for you
