Physics Course/Ultra Violet Waves

From Wikibooks, open books for an open world
The amount of penetration of UV relative to altitude in Earth's ozone.

Ultra violet Waves have a frequency range between visible spectrum and x ray. Ultra violet radiation has wavelength shorter than the violet end of the visible spectrum, and longer than that of an x-ray.

Ultra violet Waves are high energy waves that can penetrate into matter and can knock off electron on surface of matter to become free electron thus change the conductivity of matter
