Human microbiota is a kind of parasitic bacteria. They form a symbiotic relationship with the host in a long-term evolutionary process, and therefore are harmless to the host. They include bacteria, fungi, and archaea. Studies have shown that the total number of microbial cells in a human body, can be up to 10 times the total number of cells of the host.
