Medicine is the scientific study that concern with the protection and enhancement of human health and the prevention and treatment of diseases.

The scope of science in medicine is about applying the fundamentals of medical theories and discoveries, for example in the field of: biochemistry, physiology, microbiology, anatomy, pathology, pharmacology, statistics, epidemiology, etc, to treat illnesses and promote health.
