Xi'an is situated inland of China. It is the core city of the Eurasian continental bridge. It is the capital of Shaanxi province. It is the political, economical, cultural, transportational, medical and educational center of Shaanxi. Xi'an has 7,000 years of history. It is the capital of many dynasties in Chinese history, including the dynasties of Zhou, Qin, Han, Sui and Tang, etc. Xi'an is the starting point of the Silk Road in the Han-Tang period, and the starting point of the Sui-Tang Grand Canal.
