Prealgebra for Two-Year Colleges/Appendix (procedures)/Dividing fractions

To divide fractions, we change the division problem into a multiplication problem, and we replace the second factor with its reciprocal. Example:

${\frac {2}{21}}\div {\frac {\color {Red}22}{\color {Blue}35}}={\frac {2}{21}}\times {\frac {\color {Blue}35}{\color {Red}22}}$.

Then we multiply and reduce as usual.
