The maximum number of In Ports in one design page is 40 (from Leviathan User's Guide and Event Logic tutorial v2.0, page 30)

Reasons for illegal connections (red cross on module's input port)

1. Audio output can not be connected to Event input and vice versa. You can change Audio signal to Event with A to E module
2. Polyphonic outputs cannot be connected to monophonic inputs. You can use Audio Voice Combiner
3. Polyphonic signals cannot be send between instruments. You can use Send and Receive instead, but it will cause 30 msec latency
